Skier and Rider Resort Review for Snowshoe Mountain

  1.

    Resort on Top!

Pros : Great facility over all, awesome snowmaking capabilities, all the luxuries of a big resort.
Cons : Limited cell coverage due to the remote location, bring walkie talkies if you're trying to stay in touch with friends/family on the slopes.

Has the big resort feel of the north east and western resorts, but super close to DC metro area. Western Territory skis awesome if you can get first tracks after a snow. Silver Creek is a hidden gem if you’re looking to escape the crowds, great diversity in terrain for beginners and advanced riders.

Pros : Best s;opes on the Eastern U.S.
Cons : Rocky Mountain lift ticket prices 🙁

Great resort for the Eastern half of the United States, decent snow. Back side of the mountain is great for intermediate+ skiers. Lift ticket prices are excessive, more like what you’d expect to pay out west. The resort is limited on dining options and you have to travel quite a distance for anything off the resort. Overall I give the resort a B- when compared to resorts out west.
