Timberline Four Seasons Resort is located in West Virginia’s beautiful Canaan Valley. Although it is not the largest resort in the state, it is a super place to visit for winter fun. Timberline boasts some of the best glade skiing south of Vermont and has the longest beginner trail in the Southeast at 2 miles long. The mountain receives an annual average of more than 200 inches of snow and has a 1000′ vertical drop. Although the terrain at Timberline is somewhat limited compared to resorts in the western US, there is something available for all types of skiers and snowboarders. The resort is served by three chair lifts and a clamp tow. Whether you’re a skier or a rider, you’ll find some snow to make you happy at Timberline. New for 2015-16: Timberline is adding a second terrain park with handle tow, 2 new gladed areas totaling approximately 8 acres, and upgrades to their snowmaking system which will increase snowmaking capabilities by 30% over last season. Making the Best of the worst
My children, mother, nephew and I were there 2/21-2/25 and had a great time! In fact the weather was not very good for ski/boarding but the resort did the best that they could to keep the majority of runs open. The resort had closed the slopes down Tuesday-Thursday that week but exchanged our weekday tickets for 2 weekend day and night passes! I believe that was above and beyond on Timberlines part!!! Thank you so much for making the best out of a potentially bad situation for my family!

Love Timberline Four Seasons resort. I’ve been going there for 20 years since I was a kid.
First, let me say: the deals and staff at Get Ski Tickets are great! We had great service and we very happy with the discounted rates. However, Timberline itself was a bit of a disappointment.
Our first day skiing was great- nice selection of runs and decent quality snow. A home had burned down on the slopes the night before, so the whole resort smelled like a campfire, but that wasn’t a big deal.
Our second day was a total disaster. The newest and main lift at the resort BROKE- as in numerous people fell from the lift and some were sent to the hospital. This meant that only one lift (besides the beginner/bunny lift) was open for the entire resort. The lines were very very long, and the lift left open was the “older” lift, so the staff had to be very careful to space out riders. I think we got in about 5 runs total that day because we had to ski uphill from most runs (those that were even accessible) to even reach the lift, and the lines were so long. No compensation was offered to skiers for this situation by the resort.
